Assassins Creed III: Liberation

Assassins Creed III : Liberation is a 2012 action adventure game which was initially released on the PS Vita. The plot is set in a fictional history of New Orleans but follows fake characters influenced on real history.Throughout the game a player controls a female protagonist named Avaline on her journey to free slaves in her hometown and get revenge for her mother's death. The characters is able to switch between the main character's different personas as a lady, a slave and an assassin.

 The game was initially a PS Vita only release and was designed to promote the handheld console. The game did alright but the PS Vita didn't really catch on so the game suffered. It was then rereleased for PS3 but with updated graphics and a different ad campaign. In the PS Vita ad it shows all gameplay on the console itself as it was trying to promote the new console. 

 This was also the first assassins creed game to have a female protagonist. She is presented as a strong empowering character but her outfit changing abilities undermines this as one of her characters is a 'dame' who's only main ability is to charm men and distract them. Although some of these personas present her as a strong female character the other persona completely undermines this. 

 The game was somewhat well received as the game itself was liked but the fact that it was only on PS Vita definitely hurt the sales.

Statement of aims

Statement of Aims and Intentions I aim to create a surrealistic crime drama which explores the mental health of a victim of a crime. I was mainly influenced by mainstream surrealist TV shows such as Black Mirror and American Horror story. Both Black Mirror and American Horror Story deal with disappoints themes and usually focus on dark and almost satanic tones. I will try to incorporate this into my TV show by using dark cinematography and also eerie music like these two shows usually do. My TV show will feature One main protagonist. The show will tackle the drama this victim faces after a crime has been committed to his family and the show will be mainly abased around him. I will also include another two protagonists who will just be supporting characters. My TV show will be on Channel 4 and aired at around 10 clock. In this essay I will be discussing what cross platform advertising is, the history of it and how it effects a company. Cross platform advertising is advertising in all forms of media. Many companies and buisnesses want their products to reach many people using different forms of media. An example of this is social media and website advertising. Using pop up ads on youtube videos and websites , a company can have more exposure on a certain product or service. Advertising on all forms of media will attract a much larger audience also. Rather than just advertising on Tv or print, which has been on the decline for a long time, advertising on many forms of media makes it so more people will see the ads and there is more likely to be higher sales.
